Cookies and Device Storage
Version 2 · Effective 21 August 2026 · Supersedes the previous version (14 February 2026)
What Is Stored On Your Device
This site sets no cookies and, by default, stores nothing on your device at all. The only item that can be stored is a note that you turned traffic measurement off — and it is written only if you do that yourself, so that your choice still holds on your next visit.
How Traffic Is Measured
I use Vercel Web Analytics. The measurement is cookieless: it sets no identifier and stores nothing on your device. What I see from it is aggregate only — which pages get opened, the approximate region, the device type and where the visit came from. You are not tracked across sites and no profile is built.
Turning Measurement Off
You can turn measurement off at any time. Your choice is kept in your browser's storage so it still applies next time, and you can reverse it whenever you like:
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| analytics-opt-out | Remembers that you turned traffic measurement off | Until you turn it back on, or clear this site's browser storage | kamest.dev (local storage, never sent to a server) |
